Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time, On site
Location: Vancouver, BC
Shifts: Night, Weekend, Shift, On Call, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Computer and technology knowledge: MS Word
Credentials: Security Guard License
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

The candidates should be attentive to detail, be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and be prepared for physically demanding tasks
The candidates should be capable of standing for extended periods and be able to work under pressure

Other Requirements:

The candidates should have good judgment in decision-making, be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities, and be strong team players
The candidates should be punctual in meeting work schedules

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to appear in court as a witness if required and produce reports
The candidates should be able to enforce regulations to maintain order, resolve conflicts, and monitor establishment activities
The candidates should be able to operate security control room equipment, patrol assigned areas, and perform security checks of passengers and luggage
The candidates should be able to prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
