Salary: $15.83 to $17.83 per hour for 50 to 65 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Work Site Environment: Hog management, Odours, Dusty
Work Setting: Rural area
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset, training will be provided
Automated Systems Experience: Bulk grain or feed handling – automated, Feeding and watering system
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and perform repetitive tasks
- The candidate should be able to handle heavy loads and pay attention to detail
- The candidate should be able to work with hand-eye coordination and have sound discrimination skills
- The candidate should be physically demanding and a combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment and in an organized way
- The candidate should be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidate be able to perform tasks such as Handling animals, Livestock branding, Monitoring animal health, Processing pig litters and Weaning
- The candidate should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment also clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
- The candidate should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
