Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to perform bending, crouching, and kneeling as required, and be capable of working in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout their shift
- The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads and lifting objects up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- The candidates should be comfortable performing repetitive tasks with consistency and precision while standing for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure, managing stress, meeting deadlines, and maintaining productivity and focus

- The candidates should be dependable and reliable, consistently fulfilling their responsibilities and commitments with accuracy and integrity
- The candidates should be flexible, adapting to changing demands and conditions effectively, and demonstrating initiative by proactively identifying and addressing tasks and challenges
- The candidates should possess strong judgment, making informed decisions and solving problems effectively, while being organized in managing their tasks and responsibilities efficiently
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate a cash register, process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments, and receive payment for goods or services
- The candidates should be able to scan items and verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
- The candidates should be able to stock shelves, clean the counter area, and maintain an organized workspace
