Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have a completion of a high school diploma
Experience: Candidates should have a previous hospitality background
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should possess safe work habits with an awareness of safe work procedures, work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- The candidates should be highly motivated, multi-task, work well under stress, and meet targeted deadlines
- The candidates should be flexible and adaptable under changing conditions, priorities, and unexpected situations
- The candidates should be able to perform physical tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, using hands to handle objects, reaching, stooping, kneeling, and bending
- The candidates should be able to work with cleaning chemicals and wear latex or non-latex gloves when using chemicals
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have WHMIS certification
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to establish and maintain a positive and fun work environment while keeping lines of communication open
- The candidates should be able to meet or exceed productivity thresholds relative to pre-determined time allotments and quality standards set by management
- The candidates should be able to participate in all Occupational Health and Safety standards established for the department and ensure all Common and Commercial contracts are met and exceeded
- The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, and wash floors and wash windows, walls, fixtures, and appliances
- The candidates should be able to vacuum carpeting and dust surrounding areas, clean and disinfect public areas such as kitchens, washrooms, change rooms, and elevators
- The candidates should be able to pick up debris and empty trash containers, attend to guest requests for extra supplies and provide basic information about the resort
