Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual (English and French) Language.
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualification such as high school diploma or equivalent
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having airline experience is an asset

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work with being a part of an iconic Canadian symbol and also should be passionate about reaching new heights, teamwork and making a meaningful contribution
  • The candidate should be able to work at the Head Quarter in Ville Saint-Laurent (Montreal) Crew scheduling that is the point of contact for the cabin crew members
  • The candidate should be able to work with a motivated and vibrant tea, with having a flexible schedule and also should be able to contribute to the success of our daily on-time performance
  • The candidate should be available to attend and successfully pass a four (4) weeks in class full-time paid training program and also be available to work shifts and holidays as we are a 24/7 operation center
  • The candidate should have a solid decision-making ability in high pressure situations and also be an effective multi-tasker
  • The candidate should have strong interpersonal communication skills and also be able pay attention to details
  • The candidate should have the demonstrated ability to monitor flight attendants’ schedules and make corrections when needed and also have good computer skills
  • The candidate having the knowledge of amadeus or industry software is an asset
  • The candidate should be eligible to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to report to the Crew Scheduling Duty Manager
  • The candidate should be able to schedule flight attendants in accordance with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) collective agreement and also analyze and quickly resolve any irregularities to the flight attendant’s schedules
  • The candidate should be able to prepare and streamline the next day’s operation and also interpret and adhere to the CUPE collective agreement
