Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a college diploma in computer support or administrative data processing
Experience: Candidates should have two more years of experience providing on-site and telephone IT support

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should have a strong ability to communicate with and explain concepts to non-technical users
• The candidates should have familiarity with the media production environment and  familiarity with IP telephony and mobile phones (Samsung [Android] and iPhone [iOS])
• The candidates should be willing to travel within Canada and outstanding ability to analyze, exercise judgment, work independently, and be proactive

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have knowledge of broadcast management applications (OnAir, WO Program) and or a diploma of vocational studies in computer support
• The candidates should have familiarity with the business environment related to TV and radio broadcast management systems
• The candidates should have outstanding communication, interpersonal, and client service skills
• The candidates should have knowledge of how to install and configure physical elements on a PC and install operating systems
• The candidates should have issue resolution skills in a Microsoft environment, knowledge of ITIL processes, technology troubleshooting knowledge and knowledge of common diagnostic and anti-virus, spyware software

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to determine the nature of IT system operational issues by conducting research, diagnostics, and analyses to resolve problems
• The candidates should be able to take necessary action based on priorities to ensure data processing continuity and escalate issues
• The candidates should be able to exercise good judgment and work independently to resolve mission-critical issues with urgency
• The candidates should be able to stay up-to-date on business processes to assess the impact of application upgrades and communicate changes to users
• The candidates should be able to issue recommendations for improving business processes based on system opportunities and constraints and maintain security profiles and review access permissions in compliance with policies and procedures
• The candidates should be able to complete necessary forms, prepare correspondence and reports, and follow up and conduct functional tests for new application versions, coordinate user acceptance testing, and provide training on new features
• The candidates should be able to interpret, translate, and follow up on user change requests with IT and stakeholders to ensure business requirements are clearly understood
• The candidates should be able to monitor the performance of IT equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements with vendors and familiarize others with job responsibilities by explaining their own duties
