Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or Intermediate or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have 1 – 3 years of experience in providing financial advice to clients and establishing relationships while achieving performance targets

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be certified professionals. They should have current accreditation and good standing in Mutual Funds License (Canadian Securities Course or Investment Funds In Canada). Within their first year in the job, they will be required to complete the Personal Financial Planner (PFP) or Registered Retirement Consultant (RRC – Quebec-based employees only). The CFP or IQPF will also satisfy this requirement

  • The candidates should be able to facilitate new client relationships by participating in business development activities within the community of banking centres in which they will work
  • The candidates should be able to focus on each client experience and connect on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful
  • The candidates should be able to have the flexibility to meet with clients on their schedule, fostering a relationship that will support their lifestyle
