Salary: $17.00 to $18.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 10 to 20 hours per week

Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:Â Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization:Â Domestic animals/pets (cats, kittens, puppies, dogs, etc.)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should possess strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in their work and be prepared for physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling as necessary for the job and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should exhibit dependability and reliability in fulfilling their duties and commitments, as well as possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication with colleagues and clients
- The candidates should demonstrate excellent oral communication abilities and also display excellent written communication skills
- The candidates should be flexible in adapting to changing situations and requirements and exercise good judgment in decision-making
- The candidates should be reliable in performing their tasks accurately and efficiently and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare food and feed animals and clean and disinfect cages, pens, aquariums, kennels, runs, stalls, and enclosures
- The candidates should be able to keep records of animals treated and assist with inoculation and treatment of animals, as well as perform nail clipping for animals
- The candidates should be able to monitor and document animal behavior and perform receptionist duties
