Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have college/CEGEP graduates or possess equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Adobe Acrobat Reader, MS Office

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and be adept at working under pressure
  • The candidates should be capable of meeting tight deadlines, demonstrating a keen attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be accurate in their work, demonstrating a strong client focus and dependability in their tasks
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, exhibit excellent oral and written communication, and be highly organized
  • The candidates should be reliable in their commitments and effective team players

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to schedule and confirm appointments, maintain a filing system, and record and prepare minutes of court sessions, meetings, or conferences
  • The candidates should be able to determine and establish office procedures and routines, arrange travel and related itineraries, and make reservations
  • The candidates should be able to open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material, coordinate the flow of information, prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents, and review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage
