Location: Delta, BC
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate attention to detail
- The candidates should be capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to coordinate activities with other work units or departments and monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
- The candidates should be able to prepare and submit reports, arrange for maintenance and repair work, and ensure proper functioning of equipment
- The candidates should be able to maintain work records and logs, monitor personnel workloads and locations, and organize warehouse and work areas
- The candidates should be able to resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- The candidates should be able to coordinate activities with warehouse and production units, and coordinate traffic flow of supplies
- The candidates should be able to compile worksheets and specifications of orders, monitor production progress, and oversee project management
- The candidates should be able to requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, and advise vehicle operators of traffic and other problems
- The candidates should be able to dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders, follow-up on issues with work orders, and keep track of shipments
- The candidates should be able to maintain vehicle operator work records, record mileage, fuel use, repairs, and other expenses, and schedule assignments and coordinate activities of vehicle operators, crews, and equipment
- The candidates should be able to establish work schedules and procedures, plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization
