Requirements:

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work independently with minimal supervision while prioritizing and managing multiple tasks under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • The candidates should have supervisory experience, including coaching, training, mentoring, performance management, and evaluating the work of team members, along with experience in leading and evaluating projects of varying scope and complexity
  • The candidates should have strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial, administrative, and operational tasks and policies

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have experience in financial management, including financial analysis, processing accounts payable, receivable, and preparation of budgets, estimates, and cash flows
  • The candidates should have experience in interpreting and applying financial and administrative policies, procedures, and practices, as well as developing and implementing administrative and operational procedures
  • The candidates should have strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and translate strategic priorities into actionable operational and business plans
  • The candidates should have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • The candidates should have strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders, excellent written communication skills, with the ability to draft, format, edit, and proofread correspondence and reports
  • The candidates should have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to demonstrate sound judgment while working independently, be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Visio) and Adobe Acrobat and experience and training in SAP related to financial management

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to oversee administrative management to support the effective functioning of both the Procurement Services Centre of Excellence and the Contracted Programs Management Office under the Division of Procurement and Supply Chain
  • The candidates should be able to manage financial services, including divisional estimates, budget preparation, invoice auditing, and processing
  • The candidates should be able to handle human resources services, such as student recruitment and management, staff timekeeping, division vacation planning, and health and safety management
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate French Language Services to ensure compliance and accessibility
  • The candidates should be able to provide strategic advisory services, including organizational development, position utilization, office layout planning, and identifying improvement opportunities
