Fire Pro Fire Protection Ltd based in Burnaby, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Material coordinator. Fire Pro Fire Protection Ltd is a provider of comprehensive fire protection services for residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Specializing in fire suppression systems, fire alarm installation, inspection, and maintenance, Fire Pro ensures that buildings are equipped with state-of-the-art safety measures to mitigate the risk of fire damage and ensure occupant safety. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Salary: $24.75 hourly for 35 to 45 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Burnaby, BC
Shifts: Day
Work setting: Construction and Various locations
Supervision: 1 to 2 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to coordinate activities with other work units or departments effectively to ensure smooth operations
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and submit reports accurately and on time, as well as coordinate the traffic flow of supplies efficiently to optimize productivity
  • The candidates should be able to create, investigate, track, and complete work orders according to established procedures, and estimate materials and labor required for production accurately
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and to the required standard, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed for operations
  • The candidates should be able to dispatch personnel according to schedules and work orders efficiently, and follow up on issues related to work orders promptly and effectively, while keeping track of shipments to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods
