Salary: $15.25 to $16.25 hourly (to be negotiated) 30 to 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, On Call, Flexible Hours, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
  • The candidates should be willing to for overtime

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to register arriving guests and assign rooms, process group arrivals, and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations
  • The candidates should be able to provide information on hotel facilities and services, provide general information about points of interest in the area, investigate and resolve complaints and claims
  • The candidates should be able to exchange foreign currency, process guests’ departures, calculate charges and receive payments, balance cash, and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms
  • The candidates should be able to maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments, follow emergency and safety procedures, clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying)
  • The candidates should be able to answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, assist clients/guests with special needs
  • The candidates should be able to handle wake-up calls, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • The candidates should be able to provide customer service
