Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is available, Own transportation
Work setting: Supermarket/grocery store
Supervision: 5-10 people, 11-15 people, 3-4 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be adaptable, collaborative, efficient, hardworking, client focus, organized, flexible, and judgmental
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizen and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position.
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to manage staff and assign duties
  • The candidates should be able to determine merchandise and services to be sold
  • The candidates should be able to develop and implement marketing strategies
  • The candidates should be able to determine staffing requirements
  • The candidates should be able to resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
  • The candidates should be able to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations
  • The candidates should be able to recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers
