Salary: $65,397 to $105,897 annually (To be negotiated) for 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time
Location: 5213 River Rd, Fort Vermilion, AB T0H 1N0, Canada
Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Morning
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Provincial or Territorial Teaching Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Vulnerable sector check
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide tutoring assistance, supervise teaching assistants and train student teachers, assign and correct homework, and develop course content
- The candidates should be able to identify children’s individual learning needs, lead students in activities to promote their physical, mental and social development and their school readiness, and prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help
- The candidates should be able to prepare subject material for presentation according to an approved curriculum, prepare, administer and correct tests, and teach students using lessons, discussions, audio-visual presentations and field trips
