Shifts: Day, Weekend, Shift, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Restaurant, urban area
Supervision: No supervision responsibility
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Point of sale system
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling, and able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate client focus and possess efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills and show initiative
- The candidates should exhibit reliability and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns and present bills to customers, accepting payment in various forms
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items, including daily specials, advise on menu selections, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and provide customer service
- The candidates should be able to greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, answer questions regarding food and beverages, serve food and beverages, and take orders, relaying them to kitchen and bar staff
