Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of licensed in Part A of the Ontario College of Pharmacists register and in good standing
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience as a Pharmacist in a long-term care, retail, and hospital pharmacy setting
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, possess superior interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
- The candidates should be highly organized, take initiative, and have excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- The candidates should be available to cover on-call services after hours on a scheduled rotational basis

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to support pharmacists in delivering high-level pharmaceutical care
- The candidates should be able to train and supervise dispensary staff, assist in setting and achieving financial objectives for the company
- The candidates should be able to assist in maintaining pharmacy inventory, present a professional image and provide friendly customer service to foster relationship building with clients
- The candidates should be able to practice pharmacy within the College’s Scope of Practice and guidelines for providing pharmaceutical care, ensure that narcotics are properly received and recorded at the dispensary
- The candidates should be able to participate in cycle counting and reconciling of inventory, ensure current and accurate patient profiles are maintained
- The candidates should be able to perform technical, therapeutic, and electronic MAR checks of all medication entries, ensuring detailed documentation in paperless Kroll meets professional and legal standards
- The candidates should be able to provide, document, and bill all pharmaceutical interventions, opinions, and services as appropriate, minimize medication incidents according to company policies and procedures
- The candidates should be able to follow protocol for reporting and resolving medication incidents, participate in continuous learning activities and share relevant learnings with other staff
- The candidates should be able to document patient counseling in Kroll for all prescriptions as required by provincial regulations, ensure timely and accurate completion of third-party processing, billing, re-submissions, and reporting
- The candidates should be able to protect patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with regulations, comply with all federal and provincial pharmacy regulations
