Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language

Experience: Candidates should have experience working in a hospital or mental health and addictions field

  • The candidates should have the ability to manage multiple activities effectively
  • The candidates should be skilled at developing and delivering presentations
  • The candidates should possess superior organizational and communication skills, tact, diplomacy, sound judgment, strong written, verbal and analytical skills
  • The candidates should demonstrate conscientiousness, empathy, mindfulness, objectivity, and the ability to engage with others in a compassionate and productive manner
  • The candidates should effectively manage unpredictable, stressful situations and conflicting priorities
  • The candidates should possess superior computer, data management and basic statistical analysis skills
  • The candidates should be proficient in using the advanced level Microsoft Office suite of applications, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and related software, with the ability to quickly learn new applications

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to provide clinical expertise in supporting the Client Relations Coordinator with the day-to-day operations of the Client Relations Office
  • The candidate should be able to offer support and guidance to the Client Relations Coordinator and Family Resource Centre Coordinator in handling complex cases, including direct engagement with patients, families, and the public to address concerns
  • The candidate should be able to assist the Client Relations Coordinator in maintaining case files in the internal tracking system and ensuring timely responses to questions and concerns from stakeholders
  • The candidate should be able to provide support and education to staff and physicians seeking proactive guidance from the Client Relations Office in navigating complex situations, including developing and delivering education and training for clinical teams
  • The candidate should be able to participate in CAMH risk management and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to confidentiality and discretion
  • The candidate should be able to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders, including the Quality and Patient Safety team, Office of CAMH President and CEO, Chief Medical Officer, Legal Office, CAMH leaders and managers, Empowerment Council, Psychiatric Patient Advocates, Office of Provincial Ombudsman, and clinical leadership
  • The candidate should be able to prepare correspondence, formal reports, presentations, and other documents
  • The candidate should be able to support a workplace culture that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork, and complies with all applicable regulatory and legislative requirements
