Salary: $52,000 to $64,000 annually (to be negotiated) 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract Full time – Virtual job
Location: Victoria, BC
Shifts: Day
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years’
Credentials: Canadian Payroll Association’s (CPA) payroll compliance practitioner (PCP)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be accurate, client focus, organized, and reliable
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to prepare and verify statements of earnings for employees, indicating gross and net salaries and deductions such as taxes, union dues, garnishments and insurance and pension plans, store, update and retrieve financial data
- The candidates should be able to perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing systems, complete, verify and process forms and documentation for administration of benefits such as pension plans, leaves, share savings, employment and medical insurance
- The candidates should be able to maintain payroll, compile statistics and reports,
- The candidates should be able to maintain records of employee attendance, leave and overtime to calculate pay and benefit entitlements, using manual or computerized systems
- The candidates should be able to prepare T4 statements and other statements
