Salary: $20.00 to $22.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 24 to 37.5 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Part time
Location: Edmonton, AB
Shifts: Weekend, 08:00 to 20:00
Target audience: Persons With Alzheimer’s Disease, Convalescent, Elderly, Females, Persons With A Disability, And Persons With Mental Health Disabilities
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Credentials: Health Care Aide Certificate And Personal Support Worker Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel and combine sitting, standing, and walking and handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to walk
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care and administer medications and assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk and change non-sterile dressings and feed or assist in feeding
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship and provide personal care
