Salary: $19.00 to $21.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Computer and technology knowledge: Kroll Software and MS Office
Product or manufacturing design: Home care items
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to experience a fast-paced environment, perform repetitive tasks and work under pressure
• The candidates should be able to need attention to detail, stand for extended periods and bend, crouch and kneel
• The candidates should be able to have a combination of sitting, standing and walking, lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to ensure the information on prescriptions is accurate, help pharmacists and maintain inventories of medications and pharmaceutical products
• The candidates should be able to maintain prescription records, prepare medications for clients and clean and maintain equipment
• The candidates should be able to compound, package and label pharmaceutical products, prepare and maintain equipment and supplies and bill third-party insurers
• The candidates should be able to compound oral solutions, ointments and creams, maintain inventories of medications and prescription records of pharmaceutical products and process claims such as health insurance or workers compensation
• The candidates should be able to maintain supplies, perform general clerical duties and order supplies and equipment
• The candidates should be able to operate cash register, assist health care professionals and provide advice about merchandise
• The candidates should be able to greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease, prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease and assist in display of merchandise
• The candidates should be able to provide pick up and delivery services on request
