Position: Physiotherapist assistant (PTA)
No of Vacancies: 1
Salary: $18.00 to $25.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment – Full time, On site
Location: 168 Charlotte Street, Ottawa, ON K1N 8K6
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Early Morning, Morning
Work setting: Private practice

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Bilingual Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College/CEGEP
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be capable of standing for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills and excellent written communication skills
  • The candidates should be well-organized in managing tasks and be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities
  • The candidates should be able to clean and maintain equipment, process files and paperwork, and schedule and confirm appointments

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
