Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Equipment and machinery experience:Â Sledgehammer and Hand tools
Security and safety:Â Bondable
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be capable of working in a fast-paced environment, handling tasks under pressure, and performing demanding tasks and repetitive movements
- The candidates should have experience in handling heavy loads, possess attention to detail, and demonstrate hand-eye coordination, being able to lift weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, underground, and in confined spaces, and adaptable to noisy, dusty, and hot environments
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate and demonstrate flexibility in their work approach, and they should be reliable team players who are hardworking and committed to their responsibilities
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to load, unload, and transport construction materials safely and efficiently, following established protocols and guidelines, clean and pile salvaged materials neatly and in accordance with site requirements, and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants promptly and effectively, using appropriate safety equipment and procedures
- The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites in a timely and organized manner, utilize hand and power tools proficiently and safely to complete various tasks on construction sites, and cut openings for pipes in walls, floors, and ceilings using hand or power tools or machines with precision and attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings accurately, ensuring proper fit and alignment
