Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language

Experience: Candidates should have experience in business administration
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically fit to lift mail containers of up to 50 lbs, push or pull boxes, sort mail, and stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have owned or leased premises that are suitable, central, and barrier-free, available one month prior to the date of hire
- The candidates should have experience interacting with the public in a retail and service environment, including sales and cash transactions
- The candidates should have knowledge of regulations, methods, and procedures for processing mail and providing postal services
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to liaise with the local community to promote and enhance Canada Post services and products and sell and advocate postal products and services to both public and business clients
- The candidates should be able to provide a suitable, centrally-located premise for the post office within 30 days of selection
- The candidates should be able to administer the post office, ensuring retail hours of operation and delivery expectations are met
- The candidates should be able to manage postal revenue, assets, and values responsibly and maintain records and prepare detailed reports
- The candidates should be able to assist in managing mail delivery routes effectively and sort mail into postal boxes
- The candidates should be able to supervise staff, ensuring efficient operations
- The candidates should be able to keep the post office clean and neat, maintaining compliance with Canada Post standards and operate the post office with diligence, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service
