The Home Depot based in Prince George, BC is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Pro Account Sales Associate: Part Time. The Home Depot is the Canadian arm of the world’s largest home improvement retailer. Our company has 182 stores in 10 Canadian provinces. We have employed more than 30,000 associates from coast-to-coast. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language, having multilingualism is an asset
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as high school, bachelor’s degree, a certificate or a diploma
Experience: Candidates need sales, retail and home improvement industry experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be active and on his/her feet in this position, including ladder climbing and lifting

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should have the knowledge across all departments and should be able to enhance the value of the home depot
  • The candidate should have the desire to build relationships and connect with members of the industry and also have strong interpersonal and computer skills.
  • The candidate should have an action-oriented attitude and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and also have a competitive edge.
  • The candidate should be flexible to be scheduled from Monday-Saturday between 6am – 6pm

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be build and manage relationships with our Pro customers and also be responsible for driving sales by identifying solutions using Home Depot’s full product offerings
  • The candidate should be able to develop ongoing relations with commercial customers of the Home Depot and also be able to proactively drive sales and assess current Pro needs on a continuing basis.
  • The candidate should be able to build strong relations with the Pro’s in order to pursue new account growth and generate business leads and also maintain knowledge of marketplace dynamics including new suppliers and products, and inform the Pros of changes.
  • The candidate should be able to provide quotes and tracking accounts to reflect current Pro Account records and also achieve and exceed sales and credit goals while delivering a strong customer experience.
