Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have previous experience operating forklifts

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety practices and excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • The candidates should have flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and workloads and work in varying temperature conditions
  • The candidates should be willing to wear appropriate safety equipment, such as safety shoes, hearing protection, and eye protection, which are provided by the company
  • The candidates should have the ability to work individually or in a team and be willing to work rotating shifts, including 7-day/12-hour shifts, covering both days and nights, with a rapid rotation schedule and receiving 84 hours every two weeks

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should hold a valid G2 or higher Ontario Driver’s License and ensure their resume includes detailed education and work experience
  • The candidates should have basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory control software
  • The candidates should have the ability to lift heavy objects (40 lbs) and perform physical tasks and be comfortable remaining seated for up to four consecutive hours

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare and hang raw materials efficiently, pick and move pallets using a handle pump cart safely
  • The candidates should be able to load and unload materials from unwinds, utilize inventory control software to order and track material consumption
  • The candidates should be able to move materials manually to support operational,  occasionally hand stack cases of finished products
  • The candidates should be able to perform basic housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized work area
