Work setting: Rural area, Relocation costs not covered by employer, Willing to relocate
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Conventional oven, Deep fryer, Electronic cash register, Food dispensers, Grill
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and experienced in handling repetitive tasks
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and capable of handling loads up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills, be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities, and be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas, set tables, and replenish condiments and supplies
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, operate dishwashers, and place dishes in the storage area
- The candidates should be able to sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, scour pots and pans, and keep records of the quantities of food used
- The candidates should be able to package take-out food, portion and wrap foods, and prepare, heat, and finish simple food items
- The candidates should be able to serve customers at counters or buffet tables, take customers’ orders, and use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and handle and store cleaning products
- The candidates should be able to receive, unpack, and store supplies, remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
