Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience in production scheduling, supply chain, and forecasting

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to create a new planning process, communication plans, and tools for effective production planning and collaborate with plant Production Schedulers to identify areas for integrated processes and lead process redesign initiatives
- The candidates should be able to work closely with the production department to optimize plant efficiencies through strategic scheduling of product lines and act as a liaison between demand planning, procurement, and the plant
- The candidates should be able to coordinate input from cross-functional areas such as operations, distribution, Customer Service, Purchasing, Sales, and Marketing to assist in forecasting production requirements and meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for customer service levels
- The candidates should be able to plan and manage inventory levels, taking corrective action when inventory is either excessive or insufficient
- The candidates should be able to analyze seasonal inventory builds by examining manufacturing capacity and aligning with customer needs, including translating yearly sales volume budgets into manufacturing production budgets
- The candidates should be able to assist operations management, sales, and marketing in mitigating risks related to inventory surpluses or shortages by recommending appropriate disposal strategies and identifying the causes of inventory gaps
- The candidates should be able to support new product launches by ensuring feasibility from an inventory management perspective and analyze root causes of inventory shortages and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences
- The candidates should be able to ensure employee safety and compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and ensure Quality Compliance with all HACCP procedures and regulatory requirements
