Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have recent JK-12 teaching experience

- The candidates should be open to diversity, be knowledgeable about the Ministerial Directive on Inclusive Schooling, experience and training in special education and assessment, general knowledge about Department of Education prescribed curricula
- The candidates should have experience in developing and implementing support plans, be familiar with TIENET software, promote positive parental engagement
- The candidates should have excellent class management skills, experience in multi-grade classrooms and differentiated instruction
- The candidates should have excellent communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, staff, and other professionals in English and French
- The candidates should be familiar with the use of assistive technologies, a very good understanding of literacy and numeracy development
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to supervise student support plans under the direction of the school principal, assess students as required to support their learning
- The candidates should be able to develop and adapt programs and material resources to meet teacher and student
- The candidates should be able to work with teachers in a coaching capacity to enhance instructional strategies
- The candidates should be able to maintain accurate student records and ensure confidentiality
