Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have three year College diploma or equivalent training such as CPM, RPA, and FMA in related field
Experience: Candidates should have three year’s of experience providing relevant Commercial Real Estate Property Management or Facilities management of a large facility

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be prepared to work in an environment where multi-tasking is required
  • The candidates should be able to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines to address changing needs, and take initiative without supervision

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to set priorities, as well as demonstrated resourcefulness, decision-making ability, and flexibility, and must have the ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
  • The candidates should have analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and support an appropriate course of action
  • The candidates should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide excellent liaison services
  • The candidates should possess leadership skills and the ability to participate as effective team members, which are essential in the timely and successful completion of projects

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to coordinate professional property management, leasing obligations, facility operations, and administration of a portfolio of buildings at Carleton University
  • The candidates should be able to ensure effective and efficient operation of Carleton’s property according to established standards and within established budgets by coordinating all related resources and contracts
  • The candidates should be able to handle tenant complaints, service requests, and preventative maintenance in conjunction with the Assistant Manager, Property Services
  • The candidates should be able to assist in the preparation of reporting and capital renewal of the properties
