Salary: $19.00 to $30.00 hourly for 12 to 36 hours per week
Employment Type: Part time leading to full time
Location: Richmond, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend and Morning
Work setting: Private sector and urban area

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the Mandarin and Cantonese Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset.
Computer and technology knowledge: Candidates must have knowledge of Electronic scheduler, Word processing software, Electronic mail, Spreadsheet, MS Excel, MS Word and MS Windows

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work under pressure, maintain tight deadlines, pay attention to detail and also sit

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment and also work in an organized way
  • The candidate should be reliable and also a team player
  • The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills and also an excellent oral and written communication

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should be able to perform clerical duties, such as filing and sorting and distributing mail, maintain work records and logs and also receive and issue payments
  • The candidate should be able to answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, calculate billing charges, provide directory assistance and also record and relay information
  • The candidate should be able to operate switchboard or telephone system, order office supplies and also schedule and confirm appointments
  • The candidate should be able to obtain and process information required to provide services and also send invoices
  • The candidate should be able to greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, provide basic information to clients and the public and also relay service to persons with disabilities
