Salary: $30.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Edmonton, AB
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Shift, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is available
Work setting: Urban area
Supervision: Labourers in processing, manufacturing, and utilities, other products machine operators, and more than 20 people

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in noisy and dusty environments
  • The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks and demonstrate attention to detail
  • The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads and possess hand-eye coordination
  • The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and exercise good judgment
  • The candidates should be organized and demonstrate reliability
  • The candidates should be a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to prepare and submit reports, establish work schedules, and oversee the safety of operations
  • The candidates should be able to train or arrange for training, recommend personnel actions, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • The candidates should be able to set up machines and equipment, supervise, coordinate, and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers, and resolve work problems
  • The candidates should be able to recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
