Back2feet Inc based in North York, ON is inviting applications from suitable candidates for the position of Receptionist, the medical clinic. Back2feet Inc is an orthopedic company that specializes in custom-made foot orthotics, braces, and orthopedic footwear. We focus on everything from the back to the feet for the lower extremities, upper extremities, and the spinal region. Back2feet’s primary emphasis is on foot care, especially for the Diabetic High-Risk foot. Our Certified Orthotists and Certified Pedorthists are ready to provide Orthotic and Pedorthic services such as custom orthoses, orthopedic footwear, and shoe therapy/modifications. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Computer and technology knowledge: Word processing software, Electronic mail, MS Word, MS Windows

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, and a repetitive tasker
  • The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to work under tight deadlines
  • The candidates should be able to sit for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be organized, flexible, reliable
  • The candidates should have excellent oral communication, excellent written communication, efficient interpersonal skills, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas, provide basic information to clients and the public, obtain and process information required to provide services
  • The candidates should be able to operate a switchboard or telephone system, order office supplies, record and relay information, schedule and confirm appointments
  • The candidates should be able to send invoices, maintain work records and logs, receive and issue payments, perform clerical duties, such as filing and sorting, and distributing mail
  • The candidates should be able to answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages, arrange teleconferences, calculate billing charges
  • The candidates should be able to provide directory assistance, provide emergency services, and relay service to persons with disabilities
