Salary: $30.00 hourly for 35 to 44 hours per week

Location: Sutton, ON
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Shift, Morning
Work setting: Willing to relocate and Nursing home/home for the aged

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Geriatrics 
Credentials: Completion of the Canadian Practical Nurse Registration Examination, and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Immunization records

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate attention to detail
• The candidates should be capable of working under pressure and willing to work overtime when required
• The candidates should have the ability to distinguish between colors and possess sound discrimination skills
• The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

• The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and have interpersonal awareness

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to administer medication, observe and document therapeutic effects, take vital signs, apply aseptic techniques, ensure infection control, and conduct specimen collection
• The candidates should be able to provide safety and health education to individuals and their families, monitor patients’ progress, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions, and consult with appropriate members of the healthcare team
