Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a Master’s degree in Psychology
Experience: Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience with research studies focused on youth, young adults, and families experiencing mental health challenges

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and diverse stakeholders
  • The candidates should possess strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues in plain language
  • The candidates should be detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to track key project deliverables and meet deadlines
  • The candidates should have the ability to work effectively in various settings with individuals from diverse backgrounds

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have extensive experience providing research administrative support, problem-solving, and coordinating quantitative data collection and experience coordinating large-scale or multi-site studies
  • The candidates should have previous experience in recruiting, screening, and completing the informed consent process with research participants
  • The candidates should have previous experience preparing REB submissions, amendments, and renewals
  • The candidates should demonstrate strong literature review and synthesis skills and be proficient in word processing, PowerPoint, and database software packages
  • The candidates should have bilingualism in French and English and proficiency in a second language

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to oversee the CRM and CYMH Trials Network development and management while monitoring project milestones
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate day-to-day research operations, working with multiple research studies to support recruitment activities
  • The candidates should be able to perform data entry, maintain databases, and prepare data for progress reports, research grant applications, presentations, and peer-reviewed research papers
  • The candidates should be able to facilitate the training of staff and research trainees on all study procedures
  • The candidates should be able to prepare Research Ethics Board (REB) submissions and develop and harmonize standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • The candidates should be able to assist with contracts and agreements and maintain study documents
  • The candidates should be able to support a healthy workplace that embraces diversity, encourages teamwork, and complies with all applicable CAMH policies and regulatory requirements
  • The candidates should be able to work primarily at 80 Workman Way, with potential travel between sites
