Salary: 27.58 to 28.96 hourly for 30 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language.
Education: The candidate should have minimum qualification of College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma.
Experience: The candidate should have at least 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related industry.

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and pay attention to detail.
  • The candidate should be required to work under pressure and maintain tight deadlines.

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be accurate, flexible, initiative, judgemental, organized and a good team player.
  • The candidate should have efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication and excellent written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • The candidate should establish and maintain contact with suppliers, maintain adequate stock levels, negotiate prices, discounts, credit terms and transportation arrangements with suppliers, oversee distribution of merchandise to outlets.
  • The candidate should be able to review requirements of establishment and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, select and purchase merchandise for resale, study market reports, trade periodicals and sales promotion materials and visit trade shows, showrooms, factories and product design events, visit trade shows, showrooms, factories and product design events.
