Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 year to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, prepared for repetitive tasks, and able to work effectively under pressure
  • The candidates should also have a strong attention to detail

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate a cash register, operate computerized inventory record-keeping and re-ordering systems, and provide advice about merchandise
  • The candidates should be able to assist in the display of merchandise, conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce, and estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties, and delivery dates
  • The candidates should be able to greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental, or lease, maintain sales records for inventory control, prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease, prepare sales, rental, or leasing contracts, and accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payment
  • The candidates should be able to supervise staff, including apprentices, stagehands, and the design team if necessary
