Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in dusty, hot, and noisy environments
- The candidates should be physically fit to meet the demands of the job and able to handle repetitive tasks efficiently, as well as perform activities such as bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and willing to work overtime when required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have a client focus and demonstrate dependability
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and have excellent oral communication
- The candidates should show flexibility and exhibit sound judgment
- The candidates should be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to clean and maintain sidewalks, streets, roads, and public grounds, ensuring cleanliness and safety for pedestrians and vehicles, and spread sand or salt on sidewalks for snow or ice control, minimizing hazards during winter weather conditions
- The candidates should be able to collect and load refuse on garbage trucks, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials, and assist in routine maintenance and repair of equipment used for cleaning and maintenance tasks
- The candidates should be able to sweep debris and remove snow from streets, sidewalks, building grounds, and other areas, and load snow and debris into carts or trucks efficiently to maintain cleanliness and accessibility
