Central Protection Services is a private contract security company offering a comprehensive range of security solutions. Their services include concierge security, loss prevention, construction site security, residential and commercial security, fire watch, event security, oil and gas field security, camp security, healthcare security, retail security, CCTV monitoring, private investigation, neighborhood patrols, parking patrols, and dedicated patrols. Job Description:

Shifts: Starts as soon as possible, On Site
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Type of experience: Audio-video surveillance and Security systems/alarms consulting (residential)

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles) and Security Guard License

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be attentive to detail, be able to handle a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and be comfortable with prolonged sitting
• The candidates should be capable of standing for extended periods and be able to walk as required for the role

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, have good judgment in decision-making, and be reliable in fulfilling their responsibilities
• The candidates should be strong team players

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs, check age identification of patrons, and enforce regulations to maintain order, resolve conflicts, and monitor establishment activities
• The candidates should be able to operate security control room equipment, patrol assigned areas, and perform security checks of passengers and luggage
• The candidates should be able to pick up and deliver cash and valuables and prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
