Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of an undergraduate degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Economics and Mathematics
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 3 to 4 years of experience in related financial roles
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate strong financial acumen and the ability to practically apply financial principles and theories
- The candidates should have the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and manage conflicting timelines and requirements while effectively prioritizing tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess an accounting designation such as CFA, CPA (CA/CMA/CGA), or an equivalent certification and expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to review project proposals and determine appropriate accounting treatment, prepare, analyze, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual project spend
- The candidates should be able to prepare and post monthly journal entries for all business transactions leading up to the financial statements
- The candidates should be able to perform account analysis and monthly reconciliations of key Balance Sheet accounts
- The candidates should be able to review ongoing projects and set up final assets upon project completion, identify, analyze, and reconcile inconsistent information and recommend adjustments
- The candidates should be able to ensure financial data generation processes comply with applicable internal control (SOX) requirements, review complex accounting concerns in consultation with the accounting policy team
- The candidates should be able to identify and analyze process improvement opportunities and implement selected solutions, address and respond to queries from auditors and internal reviewers
