Salary: $20.00 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 60 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Moncton, NB
Shifts: Day, On Call, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Supervision: Heavy duty equipment mechanics (3-4 people) and motor vehicle body repairers, automotive technicians/motor vehicle mechanics

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years 
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate and Heavy-Duty Equipment Technician Red Seal Endorsement 

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, even in noisy or wet/damp conditions
  • The candidates should be capable of working effectively under pressure and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and be well-organized
  • The candidates should be team players

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to supervise workers and projects effectively, coordinate and schedule activities proficiently, and recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions diligently
  • The candidates should be able to ensure health and safety regulations are followed rigorously, requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed, and establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units efficiently
  • The candidates should be able to resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity effectively
