Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Experience: Candidates should have previous experience supervising therapy assistants
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be active or eligible for registration and a practice permit with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
- The candidates should have experience with Connect Care and be comfortable using computers and other office equipment and excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide clinical professional practice both independently and as part of a collaborative team, which may include external partners
- The candidates should be able to deliver prevention, health promotion, identification, assessment, intervention, and case management services
- The candidates should be able to participate in the planning, coordination, and delivery of rehabilitation services in collaboration with patients/clients, families, healthcare professionals, and other partners
- The candidates should be able to supervise students and provide clinical guidance to other staff as appropriate
- The candidates should be able to use their clinical expertise to support ongoing quality improvement, service integration, and program development
