Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of 2 year diploma in data science, computer science, supply chain management, economics, statistics and mathematics
Experience: Candidates should have at least 4 years experience in the relevant field

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a completed a related field with of related work experience; OR a degree in data science, computer science, supply chain management, economics, statistics, mathematics, or a related field with at least 2 years of related work experience
  • The candidates should have experience in a large, complex, and highly regulated service organization, including a combination of developing, implementing, and monitoring data integration, data modelling, master data management, data analysis, and continuous improvement of data
  • The candidates should have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and experience with Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI
  • The candidates should have experience generating reports using Business Objects, DAX, and SQL
  • The candidates should be able to demonstrate an understanding of intermediate statistics and statistical theory
  • The candidates should have strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • The candidates should be aware that a security clearance, prepared to be tested for the appropriate skills and provide proof of qualifications

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to develop a visual diagram to show how different data elements interact and relate to each other within a system
  • The candidates should be able to work with interested parties to develop a good understanding of the business context, providing expert judgment and analysis for the architecture design, development, and implementation of diverse types of data solutions, including integration, migration, reporting, data warehousing, and application data layer
  • The candidates should be able to develop descriptive, prescriptive, and predictive models using state-of-the-art machine learning techniques
  • The candidates should be able to process, cleanse, and validate the integrity of data to be used for analysis
  • The candidates should be able to propose solutions and strategies to tackle business challenges
  • The candidates should be able to collect raw data sets to answer questions, cleanse the data, analyze it, and interpret it to provide recommendations. They will also purge duplicate and anomalous data, reconcile inconsistencies, and standardize data structure and format
  • The candidates should be able to coordinate and support the completion of reports, projects, backgrounders for Council Reports, future capital planning analysis, deployment strategy and analysis, literature reviews, and best practices research
  • The candidates should be able to conduct independent research using both primary and secondary sources for supply chain-related information, trends, and risks
  • The candidates should be able to apply numerical and statistical analyses to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for efficiency gains
