Salary: $25.00 hourly for 30 hours per week

Location: 10A Bram Ct Unit 10, Brampton, ON, L6W 3R6
Shifts: Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Early Morning and Morning
Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel for extended periods and willing to travel overnight
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates need experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Candidates must have AZ class license
Type of trucking and equipment: Straight truck (4,600kg+ or 10,000lbs+ with 3+ axles)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to pay attention to detail, perform repetitive tasks and also sit
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be able to work in a flexible environment and also in an organized way
- The candidate should be reliable and also someone who can judge
- The candidate should have experience of communication systems like Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment and also Trip recorder (on-board computer)
- The candidate should have experience of transport/travel like international and national transport
- The candidate should have documentative knowledge like bill of lading, driver logbook, inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip) and also trip reports
Responsibilities:
- The candidate should be able to arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, receive and relay information to central dispatch and also record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
- The candidate should be able to perform brake adjustments and also tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo
- The candidate should be able to coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques and also professionalism in customer service
