Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Computer and technology knowledge: Electronic cash register, Interact machine, Price scanner, Computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering system
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Reference required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to work effectively under pressure
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail in their work and be able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize accuracy in their work and exhibit excellent oral communication skills
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility in their approach to tasks and be team players, capable of collaborating effectively with others
- The candidates should be reliable and dependable in fulfilling their duties, demonstrating maturity in their conduct
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to operate a cash register and process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments
- The candidates should be able to receive payment for goods or services and calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
- The candidates should be able to engage in suggestive selling techniques and greet customers
- The candidates should be able to accept reservations or take-out orders and wrap or place merchandise in bags
- The candidates should be able to provide customer service and monitor all entrances and exits, and request proof of payment when necessary
- The candidates should be able to participate in promotional activities
