Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Computer and technology knowledge:Â Electronic cash register and Point of sale system
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and be comfortable standing for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to work in hot and noisy environments
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client-focused, have efficient interpersonal skills, and have excellent oral communication skills
- The candidates should take initiative, be organized, and demonstrate reliability
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, present bills to customers, and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques, or room billings
- The candidates should be able to describe menu items including daily specials for customers, advise on menu selections, and balance cash and record sales
- The candidates should be able to clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- The candidates should be able to serve food and beverages, take orders and relay them to kitchen and bar staff, and train staff
- The candidates should be able to assist clients/guests with special needs, provide customer service, and take customers’ orders
- The candidates should be able to prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, verify receipts and packing slips, and bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables
- The candidates should be able to place dishes in storage areas
