Salary: $31.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years
Type of material: Steel, iron and heavy metals 
Equipment and machinery experience: Arc welding machine, Gas welding machine

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be experienced in handling repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail
• The candidates should be physically fit and able to meet the demands of a physically demanding role
• The candidates should possess excellent hand-eye coordination, ensuring accuracy in their work
• The candidates should be capable of handling weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs), as required by the job demands

• The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, adapting well to changing circumstances and evolving tasks
• The candidates should be organized, maintaining a systematic approach to tasks and responsibilities
• The candidates should be team players, collaborating effectively with colleagues to achieve common objectives

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes, and examine welds to ensure they meet standards and/or specifications
• The candidates should be able to operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment, brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines
• The candidates should be able to fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal, operate oxygen arc cutting equipment (arc-air), (AOC), and determine the weldability of materials
• The candidates should be able to maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment
