Salary: $25.50 to $26.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 1125 40e Rue, Saint-Georges, QC G5Y 8C7, Canada
Shifts: Day, Morning
Transportation information: Drive manual transmission vehicle, Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Area of specialization: Truck driving
Equipment and machinery experience: Concrete mixing
Own tools/equipment: Cellular phone, Hard hat, Steel-toed safety boots, Safety vest, Gloves
Credentials: Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks), Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles), Driver’s License (Class 3 or D)
Security and safety: Driver’s validity licence check, Medical exam

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks and sit for extended periods

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should exhibit flexibility, be organized, and display reliability
  • The candidates should be a team player and have patience

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment, and perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections while overseeing all aspects of the vehicle
  • The candidates should be able to receive and relay information to central dispatch and ensure adherence to safety regulations
