Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to drive results through hands-on training and active team member coaching, guide and challenge management’s continuous, effective assessment of recycling performance
- The candidates should be able to provide initial training and support for new store openings, guide store teams in the implementation of new required recycling programs
- The candidates should be able to conduct training using effective training techniques and materials, participate in Regional, District, and store meetings, provide detailed ongoing training on Recycling Standard categories
- The candidates should be able to review store recycling paperwork with management to ensure proper reconciliation of invoices and completion of required recycling documents, develop new recycling categories to have a positive impact on financial results
- The candidates should be able to focus on reducing the company’s waste stream through monitoring and evaluating current recycling initiatives, review company reports, recycling performances, status, opportunities, and results
- The candidates should be able to ensure proper utilization of company assets through maximizing trailer weights, compactor efficiencies, and proper bale-making procedures
- The candidates should be able to support the company’s recycling goals and objectives, visit Distribution Centers and Consolidation Centers to review recycling standards and review store recycling performance prior to store visits
