Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a High School Diploma
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidate should be available to work night, evening, and day shifts, including weekends and holidays
- The candidate should understand that the night shift is the permanent position for this posting, with the possibility to change with seniority
- The candidate should be able to successfully pass the pre-employment qualifying exam, physical, and a security check
- The candidate should demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment
- The candidate should be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations (as per Transport Canada requirements)
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should have completed a recognized apprenticeship program and/or have at least 4 years of industry-related experience
- The candidate should possess a Transport Canada AME M2 license, possess a valid driver’s license
- The candidate should be able to pass and obtain an airside vehicle operator’s permit, possess a restricted radio operator’s permit
- The candidate should meet Air Canada’s medical standards for safety-critical work, including undergoing a medical evaluation, drug and alcohol testing, and being free of any intoxicating substances
- The candidate should be eligible to work in the country of interest at the time of any offer of employment and must be responsible for obtaining any required work permits, visas, or other authorizations
